The first agency-sponsored chairs of their kind, the Saul Z. Cohen Chair in Child and Family Mental Health, and the Pauline B. Falk Chair in Community Education and Research invite leading experts in areas of current concern to teach and train agency staff at all levels. The Cohen Chair, created in 1996, has greatly strengthened the agency's clinical practice in treating victims of traumatic stress. Currently, the Cohen Chair is focusing on issues of race and racism.
