The Selig Institute regularly presents lectures and conferences for the professional community. Led by preeminent practitioners from JBFCS and the community at large, these special programs address a wide range of practice areas and critical issues confronting the mental health profession.
The Peter Blos Biennial Lecture is named in honor of this JBFCS staff member who was a clinician and author – and was a pioneer and leader in treatment of the adolescent. This lecture features experts on topics related to adolescence.

The Biennial Conference on mental health and social service issues brings together the top researchers and practitioners for an all day conference on current, crucial topics. The format is a large conference with multiple workshops enabling more focused presentations and intimate discussion.
